We're not your typical architecture firm - we design for the storms that haven't even happened yet.
Started this whole thing back in 2011 after watching too many coastal homes get wrecked by winter storms. Figured there's gotta be a better way, right?
So we dove deep into storm engineering, worked with marine scientists, talked to folks who've lived through the worst weather BC's coast can throw at 'em. What we learned changed everything about how we approach design.
These days, we're lucky enough to work with clients who get it - people who understand that building smart means thinking 20, 50, even 100 years ahead. Climate's changing whether we like it or not, and our job's making sure your building's still standing when everyone else is scrambling.

Call it philosophy if you want, but it's really just common sense mixed with stubborn determination.
Ocean's not going anywhere, and neither is the rain. We design with water, not against it. That means understanding how storms move, where flooding happens, and what the tides'll look like in 2075.
Cheap construction's expensive in the long run. We spec materials that'll handle salt spray, wind shear, and the kind of weather events that make the news. Your grandkids should inherit a solid building, not a repair bill.
Yeah, everyone says they're green these days. For us it means passive solar that actually works, rainwater systems you'll use, and materials sourced from places we can point to on a map. No greenwashing, just real numbers.
Buildings don't exist in a vacuum. We think about how your project affects neighbors, local ecosystems, and the folks who'll be using the space. Good architecture makes the whole area better, not just one lot.
Look, every project's different, but here's the general vibe:
Let's talk about what's actually possible for your site and your budget. No BS, just real solutions.
Small but mighty. Everyone here's seen a storm or three.
